Performance

INTRAD REFLEX sheet is resistant to impact, abrasion and most chemicals.
The PVC-U material has been British Standard tested for fire propagation and surface spread of flame (BS 476 Parts 6 and 7), achieving a Class 1 rating, and Class 0 in accordance with the Building Regulations.

It is suitable for installation on: Interior walls and partitions Doors Rectangular and (when thermoformed) circular columns Service Counters Plinths, displays, food and storage cabinets	DESIGN FEATURES INTRAD REFLEX sheet is a complete cladding system. The 2mm thick PVC-U sheet (supplied maximum size 3 x 1.3m) is augmented by a complete range of jointing, corner and edge trim components. INSTALLATION INTRAD REFLEX sheet is fixed by means of suitable adhesive, depending on substrate. CUSTOM SIZES AND FINISHES INTRAD REFLEX sheet is also available in sizes tailored to meet specific client needs, for example door manufacturers, wall cladding contractors and Architectural Ironmongers (push/kick plates). White INTRAD reflex sheet is available in smooth hygienic finish.

DOOR AND DOOR FRAME PROTECTION INTRAD REFLEX sheet can be applied whole or part-door as flat sheet, or thermo-formed to protect both face and edge. Various options for door protection -showing the versatility of REFLEX sheet are illustrated on the page above. Doors The characteristics of thermo-forming are ideal when REFLEX sheet is applied to doors. The continuous 'wrap-around' gives extra secure protection to the door edge. Note - When part-cover is required ' REFLEX sheet must be rebated into the door edge. Door frames INTRAD REFLEX sheet is ideal for protecting door frames. With thermo forming capability it is possible to follow precisely the shape of door frames and architraves. Typical examples include:	HYGIENE STANDARDS Requirements for food hygiene are becoming increasingly stringent. Regulations in the UK, and EC Directives, now demand much higher standards than were previously acceptable: The Food Safety (General Food Hygiene) Regulations 1995, Statutory Instruments No. 1763, Food. EC Directive 93/43/EEC, l4 June 1993 on the hygiene of foodstuffs. INTRAD REFLEX sheet complies with all relevant United Kingdom regulations and EC Directives concerning food hygiene. INTRAD REFLEX sheet provides the ideal surface where concern for hygiene is paramount- not only in food preparation areas, but in hospital wards, changing rooms, etc. It will not harbour dirt or mould growth and is virtually maintenance-free. INTRAD REFLEX sheet does not require painting or finishing. It can be wiped clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent. The jointing components have been specially designed so that there are no exposed open joints or grouted areas to harbour dirt and grime. When thermo-formed, REFLEX sheet even improves on its own exceptional hygienic performance. The process of thermo forming means that jointing can be avoided altogether at corner angles.
