INTRAD REFLEX cornerguards comprise a full mechanically fixed corner protection system for 90º and 135º corners. The finely engineered components include a rigid aluminium core, built-in impact absorbers and a PVC-U cover profile that is strong, resilient and attractive.

DESCRIPTION
General
A decorative corner protection system for 90º or 135º corners. Consisting of finely engineered components, INTRAD REFLEX cornerguards can be supplied to provide 75mm or 50mm of cover.

APPLICATION
INTRAD REFLEX corner guards are designed for decorative protection of 90º and 135º corners. The RCA-50 corner guard is also ideal for protection of door frames.
Use INTRAD REFLEX corner guards on:

DESIGN FEATURES
INTRAD REFLEX cornerguard is a sophisticated corner protection system of finely engineered, fully integrated components.

System components Components of the system are:
Impact resisting cover
Extruded PVC-U profile which snap-fixes securely in position over an aluminium core section.
Aluminium core
Profiled aluminium extrusion which is screw-fixed to the corner.

Types and condition of substrate vary, so it is essential to use fixings that are appropriate for the substrate in question. Detailed fixing instructions are available on request from INTRAD Architectural Systems.

Performance
INTRAD REFLEX Cornerguards are resistant to impact, abrasion and most chemicals. The PVC-U material has been British Standard tested for fire propagation and surface spread of flame (BS 476: Parts 6 and 7), achieving a Class 1 rating, and Class 0 in accordance with the Building Regulations.

INSTALLATION
INTRAD REFLEX cornerguards are simple to install by screw-fixing the aluminium core, and end caps, to the substrate. The impact resisting cover section engages securely with the core section without the need for mechanical fixing.
