	INTRAD REFLEX rail is a complete PVC-U guardrail system, designed to protect walls and other vulnerable interior surfaces against damage caused by impact and wear. Standard components within the REFLEX rail system can be used in many different combinations. This allows for installations of differing performance, depth of cover, and overall cost. INTRAD REFLEX rail is available with an attractive embossed finish. A wide choice of colours is available.

DESCRIPTION
General
A complete guardrail system with components that can be used in various combinations.

Performance
INTRAD REFLEX rail is hard wearing, resilient, resistant to abrasion and most chemicals. The PVC-U material has been British Standard tested for fire propagation and surface spread of flame (BS 476: Parts 6 and 7), achieving a Class 1 rating, and Class 0 in accordance with the Building Regulations.

APPLICATION
INTRAD REFLEX rail has been specially designed to protect walls and other vertical surfaces against impact damage and wear. It is suitable for installation on :

Interior walls and partitions
Rectangular columns
Service counters
Plinths, displays, food and storage cabinets. etc.

DESIGN FEATURES
The RA2 system provides 200mm depth of cover. The system comprises a number of components which can be supplied as various 'fixing options' to suit different installation, performance and cost requirements.

System components
Basic system components are:
REFLEX rail cover section (Code ref RA2)
Extruded PVC-U profile designed to snap-fix over plastic brackets or aluminium core. Standard lengths 3m.
Fixing brackets (Code ref A3P)
Plastic brackets designed to hold optional continuous impact cushion. Fix at 600mm maximum centres.
Fixing Brackets (Code ref A3M)
Aluminium brackets designed to hold continuous impact cushion. Fix at 600mm maximum centres.
Aluminium core (Code ref AC2OO)
Profiled aluminium extrusion to BS 1474. Designed to hold up to 3 impact cushions. Standard lengths 3m.
Endstops (Code ref RA55) Moulded with embossed finish.
Corner pieces (Code ref RA44) Moulded with embossed finish.

Preformed corners (Code ref RA4) Factory-formed 90°, with embossed finish. Ideal for short returns.

REFLEX RAIL ON SPACERS INTRAD REFLEX rail can be mounted on support brackets , distancing the rail 45mm away from the wall. This arrangement is valuable when it is desired to keep mobile equipment, furniture, etc well away from vulnerable wall surfaces. The support brackets are used vertically in pairs (RA2 system) or singly (RB12 system), and should be fixed at 600mm maximum centres. Fixing options RA2 system offering 200mm depth of cover.
