| DESCRIPTION General An elegant, yet highly practical and economical handrailing system. The INTRAD REFLEX RHR-45 handrail consists of a embossed PVC-U cover profile over a rigid aluminium core section. The cover provides a secure handgrip which is warm and pleasant to the touch, and can be supplied in a wide range of colours. Performance The aluminium core and injection moulded polypropylene support brackets impart great strength to the system. The PVC-U cover profile is resistant to scratching and abrasion. The PVC-U material has been British Standard tested for fire propagation and surface spread of flame (BS 476: Parts 6 and 7), achieving a Class 1 rating, and Class 0 in accordance with the Building Regulations. INSTALLATION INTRAD REFLEX handrail is supported on brackets screw-fixed to the substrate at 600mm maximum centres. Types and condition of substrate vary, so it is essential to use fixings that are appropriate for the substrate in question.
