DESCRIPTION
General
A complete handrailing and wall protection system with exceptional characteristics. Ergonomically designed for comfort, safety and performance, INTRAD REFLEX COMBI-RAIL is an elegant handrail which also protects interiors from impact damage and wear. COMBI-RAIL provides support, decorates, and preserves building interiors.
PERFORMANCE
INTRAD REFLEX COMBI-RAIL is a rigid handrail system which also acts as a buffer rail. It is hard wearing, resilient, resistant to impact and to most chemicals. The PVC-U material has been British Standard tested for fire propagation and surface spread of flame BS476: Parts 6 and 7, achieving a Class 1 rating, and Class 0 in accordance with the Building Regulations.

APPLICATION
INTRAD REFLEX COMBI-RAIL is designed for use in circulation areas where a combination of handrail support and surface protection is required - ideal for corridors. Lengths of COMBI-RAIL can also be installed on rectangular columns, or any type of service counter, display, food storage cabinet, etc.
DESIGN FEATURES
INTRAD REFLEX COMBI-RAIL comprises a system of finely engineered, integrated components. The total system has the order code reference RCR-125 which consists of 3m lengths of PVC-U handrail profile and embossed impact strip, aluminium core and continuous PVC impact absorber, plus support brackets. SYSTEM COMPONENTS
Components of the INTRAD REFLEX COMBI-RAIL system are:-
Impact resistant rail profile
Smooth extruded PVC-U profile with embossed central section designed to engage onto rigid aluminium core. There is also available a version with a contrasting colour strip.
Aluminium core (Code Ref: RCR-1-AC)
Profiled aluminium extrusion to BS 1474, holding impact absorber.
Support brackets (Code Ref RCR-1-MB)
Moulded polypropylene - to be fixed at 600mm maximum centres. Engage into rear of aluminium core.

Accessories
Corner pieces (Code Ref: RCR-1-90)
Moulded polypropylene for external corners.
Endcaps (Code Ref: RCR-1-ES)
Moulded polypropylene.
Wall returns (Code Ref: RCR-1-WR)
Each consisting of one corner piece (RCR-1-90) and a wall return adaptor (RCR-1-WA).

INSTALLATION
INTRAD REFLEX COMBI-RAIL is screw-fixed to the substrate at 600mm maximum centres. Types and condition of substrate vary, so it is essential to use fixings that are appropriate for the substrate in question.
