DESCRIPTION

General
INTRAD REFLEX bed head locator is designed to prevent wall damage caused by movement of beds in hospitals. The extended bracket allows a clear projection away from vulnerable medical equipment.

INTRAD REFLEX bed head locator is ideal for areas where the bed has to be in a defined zone such as intensive/critical care, transfusions, minor ops units etc.

Performance
INTRAD REFLEX bed head locators are resistant to impact, abrasion and most chemicals. The PVC-U material has been British Standard tested for fire propagation and surface spread of flame (BS 476: Parts 6 and 7), achieving a Class 1 rating, and Class 0 in accordance with the Building Regulations.

APPLICATION
INTRAD REFLEX bed head locators and buffers are designed to prevent beds in hospitals, dormitories, etc from damaging wall surfaces. They are ideal for use in any situation where walls are vulnerable to damage from movable furniture or equipment. All INTRAD REFLEX bed head locators are supplied as complete ready-to assemble kits.

REFLEX BED HEAD LOCATOR BHL-100
A horizontally-mounted buffer that not only protects the wall but also 'locates' and keeps the bed in position.
Supplied as a complete 1m kit (Code ref BHL-100). Special lengths available to order.

DESIGN FEATURES
A PVC-U cover section with an aluminium core backing provides the protection. The aluminium core incorporates a resilient PVC spring insert which absorbs impact. A matching 'locator' component at each end prevents the bed from moving out of position.

The complete assembly is mounted on two spacer brackets for correct distancing away from the wall.
Alternative 150mm extended spacer brackets are available with special order versions up to 250mm long.

When ordering the internal clearance required between the locators must be specified - any dimension from 1000-1400mm.
